In the daily document editing process, in addition to common symbols such as "[], [], {}, <>, "", ..., |, ", _, -, --" that can be directly input through keyboard keys, there may also be a need to use other special symbols. , such as """ or "①, ②, ③, ④, ⑤", etc. Although it can be found and used through the special symbol table that comes with the input method or the character mapping table that comes with the Windows system, these are not simple and efficient enough and affect the input experience.

This article shares a tip for using Sogou input method. Through the advanced function of the input method - custom phrase, special symbols that need to be input frequently are associated with a string of short characters. Subsequently, as long as you enter the defined short characters, you can quickly input any special symbols.

1 Custom phrase

Right-click the input method icon, "More Settings" -> "Property Settings" -> "Advanced", find "Custom Phrase", and associate any string of short characters with special symbols through "Add New Phrase":

After confirmation, in the Chinese input state, directly enter the customized string to achieve quick input of special symbols:

The custom string should not have the same pinyin as a single commonly used text, as it may easily interfere with the input of normal text;

Custom strings should not be too long and must be distinguishable from each other. 3-4 letters is better.
